We stand in solidarity with the Black community. Over the past few weeks, we have been listening and learning. Even as a small company, we know that we need to dedicate ourselves to fostering anti-racism and challenge ourselves by getting comfortable with being uncomfortable.
We do not have it all figured out, but we do know that words are not enough. Ecamm has always been dedicated to empowering content creators, businesses, and brands to reach their community and build connection. In this spirit, our first step is to give a voice to black owned businesses in Ecamm’s community.
Beginning shortly, we will dedicate time on our YouTube channel to this effort. Each Tuesday, we’ll feature a different Ecamm Live member, giving that member access to use our channel to live stream information about their business and the work that they’re doing. Any super chats received during that time will be donated to that member’s charity or organization of choice. Ecamm will match the donations received. We will share updates about this regularly through all of our Marketing channels, including our email list, and our social media accounts.
Finally, we will evaluate the communications from our company to ensure our message encompasses a more accurate depiction of our members and of our diverse community. We know that this is just the beginning of a larger effort to support anti-racism.
